The Condesa House is located in the vibrant Condesa district, known for its tree-lined streets, Art Deco architecture, and excellent dining scene. Within a 300-metre radius there are numerous restaurants, cafes, bakeries and bars, including Barrio Shibuya, Quebracho Condesa, and Creperie de la Paix. Chapultepec Forest is 2 km away (a 20-25 minute walk), and Chapultepec Castle and the Angel of Independence are within easy reach. Benito Juarez International Airport is 14 km away; the nearest metro stations are about 11 minutes on foot, and Ecobici bike-share stations are nearby. The neighbourhood feels safe for walking alone even at night, and the specific street is quiet enough to hear birds, though some rooms fronting the street can pick up conversation-level noise. Guests with heavy luggage should note the presence of a narrow spiral staircase to upper floors.

Room types include single, double, triple (with two beds), and superior double rooms. All rooms have private bathrooms with a walk-in shower (some with marble walls), free toiletries, bathrobes, and a hairdryer. Additional room amenities include an electric kettle, ironing facilities, and a wardrobe. Some double rooms include a private kitchen with a stovetop, oven, and microwave, while others offer a balcony or terrace with quiet street views. A few rooms receive good natural light and feel spacious, while others - particularly Room #1 (a converted garage) and some single rooms - have no windows, or only a small window, resulting in limited natural light, humidity, and poor ventilation. Rooms are quieter and more pleasant on upper floors (e.g., room #3 near the front door, rooms on the third floor). Tower fans and electric heaters are provided in all rooms; there is no air conditioning.

Guests can prepare their own meals using the fully equipped shared kitchens (one on the main floor and another on the third floor) which include a stovetop, oven, microwave, cookware, kitchen utensils, and dining basics. Filtered drinking water is available free of charge. Each room is provisioned with a coffee machine and complementary coffee; some rooms also have a private kitchenette. The immediate area in Condesa provides an exceptional range of dining, from casual cafes to full restaurants within a 5-minute walk, making self-catering or eating out equally easy.

The property does not have a pool, spa, gym, or sauna, though one review mentions a non-functional sauna as a former listing feature - it should not be expected. Guests can use the small shared terrace with outdoor furniture, the shared lounge/TV area, and the communal kitchens. Board games are available for entertainment. The surrounding Condesa neighbourhood offers numerous parks (including Chapultepec Forest), walking paths, and a lively street culture.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the building. Luggage storage is available after checkout, which is particularly convenient for late flights. Laundry is available for an additional charge. Safety features include CCTV in common areas and outside, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, key access, and a safety deposit box (in-room; laptop-sized may be a tight fit). Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are included. The building has no lift; upper-floor access is via a spiral staircase. Cleaning staff are present but without daily servicing - housekeeping typically occurs every four days, with extra cleaning available on request.
