DISCOVERY BEACH RESORT, Cocoa Beach

Discovery Beach Resort offers one, two, and three-bedroom suites with full kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, and private balconies. All units include air conditioning, cable TVs, washers and dryers, and complimentary Wi-Fi in communal areas. Suites on the third floor and above have direct ocean views; lower floors may see vegetation.

The resort has a restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices-breakfast is a highlight. The Tiki Bar operates directly on the beach, offering cocktails and drinks. There is also a cafe and lounge in the game room area. Note: the restaurant is independently run, so bring a credit card.

Guests have access to an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub with strong jets, a sauna, and a fitness center with cardio and weight machines. Recreational facilities include a game room with pool tables, two tennis courts with pickleball lines, a basketball court, and a private beach area reached via a wooden walkway. Fishing access is nearby.

The resort is 15 metres from the beach and a 5-minute walk to Cocoa Beach Pier, which has dining and drinks. Within a 15-minute walk you'll find Publix grocery store, restaurants like Nolan's Irish Pub, and shops. Port Canaveral is a short drive, and Kennedy Space Center is about 30 minutes away. Bus stops and taxi services connect to Cocoa Beach's main attractions.

The resort provides covered free parking, a security team, and a front desk that handles check-in and late arrivals. Activities for all ages are organized by an on-site coordinator. No housekeeping is provided during stays; guests can request clean bedding and supplies at the lobby. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas, not on balconies.
