THE PRINCESS VICTORIA, London

The Princess Victoria features five bedrooms. Each room is named after classic gin cocktails and includes bespoke artwork. Rooms offer a super king, king, or twin Shakespeare pocket spring bed, Egyptian cotton linen, a Smart HD TV, free WiFi, an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower, air conditioning, a Nespresso machine, black-out blinds, a mini-fridge, and a safe. Gibson rooms offer a double shower and desk. Coffee and tea are available in each room with a Nespresso machine and a kettle with a variety of teas. Each Smart HD TV has 50 channels, including 24 radio stations. A safe is provided. Check-out time is 11 AM. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Only registered guests are permitted in the rooms.

The Princess Victoria offers a restaurant and a bar. Food focuses on ingredients from small producers across the British Isles. The menu includes free-range Sunday roasts, fish from south coast day boats, and vegan and vegetarian dishes. The bar offers over 100 artisan and big name gins, real ales, and a wine list. On Mondays, an 8oz beef burger or Redefine plant-based burger with relish, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle and fries plus a pint of house draft lager or ale is available for £15. Two 10oz sirloin steaks, two portions of chips, peppercorn sauce, a Parmesan and rocket salad to share AND a bottle of Malbec for £45 are available on Wednesdays. A brand new private room is upstairs, complete with its own cocktail bar.

The Princess Victoria is suited for events, from birthdays to weddings. The bar and restaurant are located downstairs, and individual areas can be reserved. The 1829 Room is a new private room upstairs with its own cocktail bar. For weddings, the venue is licensed for exchanging vows. A front terrace and rear courtyard garden are available. The dining room seats 80, and the entire venue can host 180 standing guests. The dining room has an HD TV, a 2-meter projector screen, and free WiFi. The front terrace and rear courtyard garden are open all year round. The rear courtyard can be hired exclusively for up to 30 people. The garden features silver birches and honey-suckle.

Located in Shepherd's Bush, The Princess Victoria is within 3 km of Eventim Apollo and 4 km of Olympia Exhibition Centre. Holland Park and Portobello Road are a 20-minute walk. The nearest tube station is Shepherd's Bush Market (Hammersmith & City line), a 15-minute walk, or Shepherd's Bush (Central line), a 20-minute walk. Shepherd's Bush mainline station is also a 20-minute walk. Buses run along Uxbridge Rd; the 207 and 260 head east towards Shepherd's Bush and west towards Acton.

The Princess Victoria offers free WiFi throughout the property. From Monday to Friday, there are 2-4-1 on drinks. Guests staying in hotel rooms receive a third off food in the dining room for the duration of their stay upon showing their room key. The bar and dining room downstairs provide an excellent area for cocktail and canapé receptions or after dinner dancing. The venue offers services for wakes, including spaces for small gatherings or receptions for up to 200 people. Sky and BT Sport are available in the main bar, and a projector in the dining room screens major sporting events. The Three Cheers and Six Cheers uses CCTV to reduce crime and improve safety.
