The resort sits on the Cocoa Beach strip, less than 1 km from Seacrest Beach and 2 km from Cocoa Beach proper. Alan Shepard Beach Park is 2 km away. The Kennedy Space Center is a 25-minute drive; Walt Disney World and Universal Studios are within driving distance for day trips. Freeway access is straightforward, and free parking is available on-site. A Publix grocery store is within walking distance for provisions. The location is particularly well-suited for families wanting a beach base and for travellers planning visits to Cape Canaveral. The beach boardwalk offers direct access and is a good spot to watch rocket launches and cruise ships depart.

The standard layout is a master bedroom (king), guest bedroom (two twins), and living room with queen sofa bed, plus two bathrooms. Units are approximately 1000 sq. ft., spacious and comfortable for families of up to six. Every unit includes a private balcony, air conditioning, a 12-cup drip coffeemaker (limited Keurigs available on request), a flat-screen TV, and a hairdryer. The guest bedroom has been recently upgraded with new art, mirrors, lamps, bedding, and window treatments. Oceanfront units face east; Oceanview units face north. Lower-floor units (2nd floor) are highly likely to have a view of trees only, not ocean, regardless of the booking category. Road-facing and restaurant-adjacent rooms can be noisy at night. The second bedroom can feel smaller than the master. ADA-compliant units (roll-in showers, grab bars) are available in both Oceanfront and Oceanview configurations.

Azteca II is the resort's restaurant and bar, offering Mexican cuisine for lunch and dinner. Taco Tuesday ($10 per plate, two tacos with fixings, rice, and beans) and Ice Cream Socials are scheduled during peak periods. The pool bar operates seasonally (hours may be limited and cash-only). Saints & Sippers Coffee Food Truck is on-site Monday mornings 7:30-11:00 AM, providing one free regular hot-drip coffee per unit; flavoured add-ons are extra. For all other meal needs, a fully equipped kitchen in each unit allows self-catering. Several restaurants, including Beachside Grill & Deli and New China, are within a 0.5 km walk. The Hilton next door is a short walk for additional dining options.

The outdoor pool is heated year-round and has a volleyball net, plus a toddler splash pad. A pool lift is available for accessibility. The hot tub is restricted to ages 12 and older. The fitness centre is free to use. Leisure activities include table tennis, billiards, shuffleboard, and a game room. A full schedule of daily activities runs throughout the week: pickleball classes (free learn-to-play and head-to-head sessions), chair massage ($10 for 10 minutes), digital scavenger hunts, sandcastle contests, coloring contests, poolside trivia, DJ pool parties, basketball challenges, and evening movies in the on-site theater. Tennis court repairs are scheduled for 2025. The beach stretches a short walk away, with beach chair and umbrella rentals available from an on-site vendor (Clay's rentals).

Parking is free and does not require a reservation; trailers up to 12.2 m are permitted with front-desk registration. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. The 24-hour reception desk can assist with check-in, luggage storage, and activity information. A business centre and an on-site movie theater are available. Accessible features include roll-in showers, grab bars, ADA-compliant toilets, lowered cabinetry, visual and audible fire alarms, accessible parking (including van-accessible), pool and spa lifts, and ramps. Housekeeping is not daily: stays over seven days receive one complimentary tidy service; towel and linen exchange is offered daily at the linen counter.
