The area is extremely walkable, with many restaurants, bars, and shops along Lakeshore Road. Lake Ontario and the marina are directly next to the hotel, ideal for scenic walks and jogging. Construction noise from a nearby city project has been noted, particularly at night.

The hotel offers a free fitness centre with basic equipment, but it has been reported as outdated and partly non-functional, and may not always be accessible. There is no swimming pool, spa, or sauna. For outdoor activities, canoeing is available at a nearby off-site location (additional charges may apply), and a golf course is within 3 km (additional charges).
