Tokyo Tower, Atago Shrine, and the Imperial Palace gardens are about 15 minutes away. The limousine bus stop at Toranomon Hills (next door) provides direct service to Narita Airport for around 3000 JPY. A convenience store is right outside, and many restaurants are a short walk, though many close on Sundays.

Rooms are on the smaller side, typical for Tokyo, with limited storage and shelf space - use the table for luggage. They remain spotlessly clean and functional, with comfortable beds, carpeted floors, and a private bathroom equipped with shower amenities, hair dryer, and complimentary toiletries. Windows can be opened for ventilation. The dated decor does not detract from practicality. Some rooms at higher floors afford a glimpse of Tokyo Tower. For quieter stays, choose a room away from neighbours and higher floors. Noise between rooms is not severe but can be noticeable.

The breakfast buffet offers a rotating selection of rice, soup, fish, sausages, eggs, bread, pastries, fruit, and hot drinks. It provides a functional start to the day but does not change drastically day to day. The on-site Shangri-La restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, serving Japanese cuisine. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Osteria Da Qui and Ganeshganesh; many are open on weekdays but closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly.

The hotel does not offer a pool, spa, fitness centre, or sauna. Laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers) are available on certain floors for a small fee, which is useful for longer stays. The surrounding area provides walking access to Atago Shrine, Tokyo Tower, and Hamarikyu Gardens for light leisure activities.
