TOMMY'S HOUSE, Rome

The apartment sits in the real centre of Rome's most vibrant neighbourhood, surrounded by dozens of restaurants and cafés less than 400 metres away. The area is fully walkable to major sights like the Roman Forum and the historic centre, with public transport stops easily accessible. Despite the lively streets, the fifth-floor apartment remains quiet overnight, making it a strong choice for both sightseeing and local immersion. Rome Ciampino Airport is 16 km away; a taxi or shuttle is the most practical connection for early or late flights.

The apartment includes a large bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a living area with a sofa bed and flat-screen TV, and a separate dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and coffee machine. A washing machine, ironing facilities, and tea-and-coffee-making kit add self-sufficiency. The air conditioning works well and is often pre-cooled before arrival. The seating area is spacious and the apartment is described as bright with views over Roman rooftops and domes. Cleanliness is consistently praised, and the quiet environment supports good sleep. For four adults, the sofa bed provides additional sleeping space.

The apartment's kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and coffee machine, plus cookware and an electric kettle for full meal preparation. There is no on-site restaurant or breakfast service, but the immediate Trastevere area offers dozens of dining options - from traditional Roman trattorias to modern eateries - all within 300 metres. Popular nearby spots include Nannarella, Otello, and Mama Eat Roma. The dining table in the apartment comfortably seats four, and the host is responsive to dietary requests such as allergen-sensitive cleaning.

There is no pool, spa, or gym on site. The value of this stay for leisure comes from its location: Trastevere's lively streets, restaurants, and historic squares are steps from the door, and major Roman landmarks such as the Roman Forum are within a 20-minute walk. The quiet apartment and large windows with views over the city's domes provide a calm retreat after a day of sightseeing.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the apartment. A lift serves the fifth floor, making luggage access easy. Check-in is via a key lockbox with a code, allowing late arrivals (confirmed for 11 pm). The host is responsive on WhatsApp and can assist with requests such as allergen-sensitive cleaning. Luggage storage is possible in the hallway after check-out. There is also a safety deposit box, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. No parking is provided, and the location is best explored on foot or by public transport.
