The hotel sits directly across from the Disneyland pedestrian walkway, making it possible to go from room to park security in about 5 to 10 minutes. This proximity allows for easy mid-day breaks and quick returns after a full day. Several dining options - including McDonald's, Denny's, Mimi's Cafe, Panera Bread, and Cold Stone Creamery - are within a 3-minute walk. John Wayne Airport is roughly a 20-minute Uber ride away. For those with limited mobility, shuttle services drop off closer to the park entrance than the walking route.

Rooms are basic and functional, reflecting an older property. Amenities include air conditioning, a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, hairdryer, and iron. Some suites include a full kitchen with oven, stove, toaster, and tableware. Beds are generally firm, and the bathrooms are compact tub/shower combinations with wall-mounted conditioning shampoo and body wash. Walls are thin and noise from neighbouring rooms and the parking lot can be a factor; a sound machine and a room away from the lot are recommended for lighter sleepers. Room types vary, and some lower-floor rooms have reported damp odours. There is no elevator on one side of the building, requiring stair access.

The hotel has no restaurant or breakfast service. The on-site market stocks coffee, wine, sunscreen, flip-flops, and other essentials, and is open until 1:00 AM. A range of quick-service restaurants - including IHOP, McDonald's, Denny's, In-N-Out, and Panera Bread - are within a 3-minute walk for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub / jacuzzi are clean and well-kept. The pool area is located in the middle of the parking lot, and additional shade umbrellas are limited. Both are a welcome relief after a day at the parks. The hot tub is particularly appreciated for soothing tired muscles in the evening.

Internet access is free in all rooms. Parking costs 12 USD per day, but spaces are very limited and a portion is cordoned off for public valet parking, often forcing guests to circle the lot or use the valet service (priced the same as self-park). A pay laundry room is available on site. The front desk operates 24 hours and offers luggage storage, which allows guests to arrive early and head straight to the parks. Dry cleaning and a business centre are also available. Housekeeping does not include bed-making, vacuuming, or surface cleaning; only trash removal and towel replacement are provided daily.
