The Wilshire/Western Metro station (Purple Line) is a 5-minute walk, providing direct connections to Downtown LA (3 stations) and Hollywood (30-40 minutes). Multiple bus stops are nearby, including routes to Santa Monica Pier and Hollywood Boulevard. A Ralphs supermarket, convenience stores, and a wide variety of Asian restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Key attractions include the Petersen Automotive Museum, LA County Museum of Art, and the Natural History Museum, all within 5 km. Hawthorne Municipal Airport is 17 km away. The metro is the most practical way to reach the airport, via Union Station and the LAX shuttle.

Accommodation consists of bed-in-dormitory rooms (mixed and female-only) and private rooms. Dormitories feature bunk beds, each with a privacy curtain, personal reading light, and USB/standard charging outlets. Some female rooms include a private balcony and a separate storage area. Noise from other guests and external lights can be an issue; road-facing rooms may be less suitable for light sleepers. A noisy window fan may be present in some rooms. The property is adults-only. All rooms are soundproofed. Sheets, blankets, and toilet paper are provided free of charge; towel rental is $2.00.

Breakfast is self-service and includes bread for toasting, spreads (Nutella, peanut butter), oatmeal, pancake mix, and coffee or tea. It is a basic but appreciated free offering. The shared kitchen is fully equipped for guest use, including a microwave, electric kettle, and all necessary cookware and utensils.
