Hotel Details

Location

Right beside Ottaviano Metro station, in the heart of Rome, with the Vatican Museums 600 metres away and St Peter's Square within a 10-minute walk.

The apartment sits on a lively street with the metro literally steps from the entrance, making it effortless to reach Termini, the historic centre, and all major sights without a car. The neighbourhood is dense with restaurants, minimarkets, and shops; popular spots like Konnichiwa Sushi Experience and Luma Bistro are just 0.5 km away. Walking distance to Castel Sant'Angelo (1 km), Piazza del Popolo (2 km), and Piazza Navona (3 km). Rome Ciampino Airport is 18 km, best reached by train or taxi from Termini. The area feels safe and well-connected, ideal for visitors who want to explore on foot or by metro.

Accommodation

A one-bedroom apartment with a separate living room, sofa bed, private bathroom, kitchenette, and city views - suited for up to three travellers.

The apartment comprises one living room with a seating area and flat-screen TV, one separate bedroom, and one bathroom with bath or shower and free toiletries. The kitchenette includes a fridge, plates, pans, and a frying pan - enough for basic self-catering. A washing machine, ironing facilities, and a wardrobe add practicality. The air conditioning works well, and the apartment is non-smoking throughout. No balcony is available. City views from the windows. The space is compact but functional, best suited to couples, solo travellers, or a small family (note: no baby crib is provided). The tiled floors keep the apartment cool in summer.

Dining

No restaurant on site, but the apartment has a kitchenette for self-catering and is surrounded by dining options within a short walk.

Vatican House does not have its own restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. The kitchenette allows guests to prepare simple meals. However, the location is a major advantage: within 0.5 km there are at least seven restaurants including Konnichiwa Sushi Experience, Luma Bistro, and Da Vito e Dina, plus several minimarkets for groceries. For a wider dining scene, the streets around Ottaviano station are filled with pizzerias, trattorias, and cafes - perfect for lunch or dinner after visiting the Vatican.

Amenities

Free WiFi, lift access, a minimarket on site, and an electric vehicle charging station - with practical parking and reception services.

The building has a lift, which is helpful with luggage. WiFi is free in all areas and works reliably. A minimarket on the premises and a barber/beauty shop add convenience. Parking is available off-site (€1/hour, no reservation needed), with accessible and street-parking options nearby; an EV charging station is also provided. Reception services include invoice provision. The host (Claudia) is reachable by phone or message for arrival coordination, and the apartment key pickup is managed directly - useful for flexible arrival within the 14:00-23:00 window. No daily housekeeping is included; the washing machine supports longer stays.
