VENICE CADEAU, Venice

Located in Cannaregio, one of Venice's quieter yet well-connected neighbourhoods, Venice Cadeau is an ideal base for exploring the city away from the heaviest crowds. The nearest waterbus stop (Sant'Alvise) is a 4-minute walk, offering a direct line to the airport via Alilaguna and to Rialto (2 km), Venezia Santa Lucia Station (14 minutes' walk), and St. Mark's Square. The area is noted for its quiet streets, canals, and bridges, with several restaurants such as Osteria Anice Stellato (0.5 km) and Torrefazione Cannaregio (0.5 km) within an easy stroll. A supermarket open on Sundays is also close by. For guests arriving by car, parking is at Piazzale Roma only - plan for an additional vaporetto or bus transfer into Cannaregio.

The accommodation consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with three single beds, plus a sofa bed in the living area - comfortably suiting families of up to 5-6 people, particularly families with children (cot available). The private bathroom features a large walk-in shower with good water pressure. The full kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, tea/coffee maker, and basic cooking supplies (oil, salt, pepper). A dining table, sofa, flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, and plenty of storage round out the space. The unit is on the ground floor with no balcony, but the inner courtyard setting keeps it quiet and cool. The beds are noted for being very comfortable, and the apartment is consistently described as clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with bath gel, shampoo, and paper towels.

Wellness and leisure facilities are limited to the apartment itself - there is no spa, gym, pool, or sauna on site. The property compensates with its excellent location: Cannaregio is a truly peaceful area for strolling along canals, crossing historic bridges, and exploring less crowded streets away from the tourist rush. The nearest waterbus stop puts you 14 minutes from the Grand Canal and key landmarks, so day trips to museums and galleries are straightforward. For relaxation, guests often use the apartment's comfortable living area, courtyard view, and quiet surroundings.

Venice Cadeau offers a good range of practical services: free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the apartment, a paid airport shuttle (booked after reservation), and express self-check-in/out with a private entrance. Luggage drop-off is possible from 13:00 to 15:00 before check-in, and late luggage storage options are available near the apartment if needed. The host provides clear instructions and is reachable via WhatsApp. Pets are not allowed, and the entire property is non-smoking. No parking is available; the nearest parking areas are at Piazzale Roma (paid) or cheaper in Mestre, requiring a waterbus or bus transfer. For families, a cot can be provided on request. Housekeeping is not included, but the apartment is thoroughly cleaned before arrival.
