VILLA LETIZIA - CASA PER FERIE, Rome

Villa Letizia - Casa per ferie is managed by the Sisters Catechist of Sant'Anna. For over 47 years, they offered hospitality in Rome's historic center at Casa Santa Sofia. They welcome groups, individual pilgrims, religious tourists, families, and students visiting Rome for prayer, study, or exploration. The Sisters Catechist of Sant'Anna reopened their doors at Villa Letizia. Villa Letizia serves the apostolate's mission of promoting religious and socio-cultural tourism, social integration, assistance, and hospitality, following the Magisterium and Church doctrine. Guests can use the chapel of Sant'Anna for private or group prayer.

Villa Letizia accommodates up to 119 guests in single, twin, and triple rooms. Some rooms connect for families of four. All rooms have private bathrooms, either inside or just outside the room. Most rooms include a shower, and some feature a bathtub; some bathrooms also include a bidet. Rooms overlook all sides of the buildings. Two rooms are designed for disabled guests: one single and one triple, each with an adapted bathroom. Rooms feature a wardrobe, chair, and desk. Each room has a phone for internal calls. A complete cleaning is carried out every three days with change of sheets and towels. Light cleaning is performed every working day.

Located in Aurelio, Villa Letizia features views of the iconic cupola of St Peter's Basilica from the park around neoclassical Villa Abamelek. It is near St Peter's Basilica and Vatican Museums. Vatican Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo are a 10-minute drive away. St Peter's Square is 4.3 mi away. Nearby landmarks include Torre Rossa (1 km), Piazza Navona (5 km), Fondazione La Quadriennale Di Roma (2 km), Pantheon (6 km), Rhaetian Railway in the Albula (1 km), Colosseum (7 km), and Torre di San Giovanni (3 km).

From Fiumicino Airport, select Fiumicino Airport => Circonvallazione Aurelia, 19. From Ciampino Airport, use the Sit Bus Shuttle to Circonvallazione Aurelia, 19. From Tiburtina Station, take Metro Line A towards Battistini for 10 stops and get off at Cornelia. From Cornelia Station (Metro A - Roma) due to closure, alternatives include: 1) By Metro A get to the Cipro stop, or 2) By Metro A get to the Battistini stop, or 3) from the center of Rome (Piazza Venezia, Piazza Argentina, Corso Vittorio Emmanuele II, Vatican (from Santo Spirito Hospital or Via Cavalleggeri / S. Pietro). Guests can also take bus 46 or 916 and get off at the De La Salle stop.
