VILLA ROYAL, Prague

The hotel sits in a residential neighborhood about 10 km south of Prague's historic core, with Vysehrad Castle and Prague Castle both a short drive or tram ride away. Tram 17 runs directly to the city center in approximately 36 minutes, making car-free exploration practical. The surrounding area is quiet and family-friendly, with a park nearby and a restaurant (Restaurace U Hertlu) about 1 km away. For travel to the airport, the 29 km distance requires either a taxi or a tram-metro combination, as no shuttle service is offered. Free on-site parking with reservation removes the need for public transport for drivers.

The property offers family rooms, twin rooms, and double rooms, all with private bathrooms, fireplaces, parquet floors, and a seating area. Each unit includes a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop, microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator, and kitchenware, as well as a work desk and wardrobe. All rooms are non-smoking throughout. The twin/double rooms provide slippers and hairdryers, while the studio-style family room sleeps up to 4 guests (2 beds) with a sofa bed. The building has no lift, and rooms on upper floors require stairs. Noise from the stairwell and neighboring rooms is a known factor, making rooms away from high-traffic areas preferable for light sleepers. No air conditioning is available; windows can be opened for ventilation.

No restaurant or breakfast is available at the property, so guests must plan meals accordingly. The kitchenette in every room-with stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and cookware-allows for simple self-catering. The nearest restaurant, Restaurace U Hertlu, is about 1 km away, and the surrounding neighborhood offers limited dining options within walking distance. For a fuller range of eateries, tram 17 or a short drive into the city center provides many choices. Guests wanting to cook should bring their own supplies, as the kitchenette includes only basic utensils.
