The hostel is situated on a main road in Södermalm, Stockholm's trendy district. Zinkensdamm Metro station is a 3-minute walk, offering a direct 8-minute connection to Stockholm Central Station and the city centre. Gamla Stan (Old Town) is about 25-30 minutes on foot. Tantolunden Park is nearby, and a wide variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops line the streets. The metro and a nearby bus stop make getting around easy without a car.

Dormitory and private rooms are compact. Each bed comes with a personal locker, but you may need your own padlock (or rent one). Floor plans are tight, particularly in smaller dorms. Rooms on the main road can be noisy, especially at night. Basement rooms such as Room 15 may have no Wi-Fi and poor ventilation. One room type has no window. Beds are generally clean, but mattresses and pillows are basic. Fans and heaters are available for temperature control.

The kitchen is compact, with limited counter space and only a microwave for cooking (no stove/oven available). A kettle, cutlery, and basic dishes are provided. Free instant coffee and tea are available. A coffee house is on site, but opening hours may be limited. Several restaurants and cafés are within a short walk, including pizza, Indian, and vegetarian options. With a supermarket nearby, many choose to buy supplies for simple meals.

The hostel provides free Wi-Fi in all areas, though signal can be weak in some basement rooms. Luggage storage is free and easy to use. A shared lounge and TV area are available, but seating is limited. Daily housekeeping, laundry (with washer and dryer), and fax/photocopying are available for a fee. The property has no lift, so it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those who struggle with stairs. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers.
