Tokyo Haneda Airport is 16 km away; a train via the station takes roughly 40-50 minutes. The area feels local and non-touristy but is within an easy 10-15 minute metro ride to Shibuya and Shinjuku. For those walking, the Imperial Palace Park is nearby and offers a running route. The neighbourhood is considered safe day and night.
