ALBERGHIERA VENEZIA, Venice

The property is centrally located in the Cannaregio district, within a 200-meter walk of Venezia Santa Lucia Station-making arrival by train exceptionally easy, with no bridges to cross. The Vaporetto stop for St. Mark's Square is only 700 m away, and the Jewish Quarter is a 10-minute walk. Piazzale Roma-the bus terminal and the arrival point for airport shuttles and car parking-is about 1 km away (a 15-minute walk). The neighbourhood is quiet, well-lit, and feels safe even at night, with a supermarket, several good restaurants, and bars within a 5-minute walk. From the airport, take the ATVO bus (20 min) to Piazzale Roma or the Alilaguna water bus to the Guglie stop (near by). The people-mover from the cruise port connects to Piazzale Roma in 7 minutes.

The property offers a range of accommodations-from economy double rooms to one-bedroom apartments-all featuring private bathrooms with showers. Each unit includes a kitchen or kitchenette with cookware, dishes, a microwave, and a refrigerator; apartments also have a washing machine. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, soundproof windows, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Several apartments have canal views and wood-beamed ceilings. Some rooms are located on the ground floor with easy access, while others are on the first floor (no lift). The economy double room (first floor) includes a kettle but has no washing machine. Larger apartments are spacious, with a separate living area with a sofa bed, making them suitable for families or groups. Some units have only skylights, making them darker-apartments with windows are brighter.

Alberghiera Venezia does not have a restaurant, bar, or café on site. Breakfast is not offered, but the apartment kitchenettes are fully equipped with a microwave, stove, fridge, and basic utensils, making self-catering practical for at least some meals. Several pizzerias, trattorias and supermarkets are within a 5-minute walk: Al Parlamento (0.5 km), Ai Tre Archi (0.5 km), and Mq10 (0.5 km) offer Italian-style dining. For a quick drink or snack, Bar al parlamento and Agli Archi are nearby. The staff can provide local recommendations.

The property does not have a spa, swimming pool, sauna, or fitness centre. However, the Cannaregio district is a quiet, authentic Venetian neighbourhood ideal for relaxed walks along the canals and less touristy exploration. The Jewish Quarter, a 10-minute walk away, has interesting historical sites. The water bus stop (700 m) provides easy access to Murano, Burano, and St. Mark's Square.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas, though connectivity in rooms can be intermittent. Luggage storage is offered before check-in and after check-out. Apartments include a washing machine, which is particularly useful for longer stays or families. The reception is open from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 19:30 daily. Late arrivals after 19:30 must be arranged in advance (€30 fee). Early check-out is possible. No daily housekeeping is provided-apartments are cleaned on departure only, so towels and linens are reused during the stay. The property does not have a lift, but ground-floor rooms can be requested if available.
