AMOR POR MADRID INFANTAS 7,1, Madrid

This central location puts Gran Via Metro Station within a three-minute walk, providing direct metro access to the city's main sights and transport hubs. The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is less than a kilometre away, and Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are also nearby. A dense cluster of restaurants - including El Tigre, Yakitoro and Mercado de la Reina - are within 0.5 km, making it easy to eat out. The building entry and stairwell are poorly lit and in disrepair; guests with mobility concerns should be aware there is no lift.

The apartment has two bedrooms with two beds and two private bathrooms, but the overall space is very small for four people. One bedroom has a bed touching the wall on both sides, and there are no wardrobes, hooks or shelves - suitcases cannot be left open. The living area doubles as the kitchen, with only two chairs for four guests. A washing machine and a flat-screen TV are provided, and the flat has air conditioning. The bathroom is cramped, and the toilet/shower space is especially tight. Some towels provided have been torn or holed. The kitchenette is usable for storing food but not for cooking a full meal; basic utensils and cookware are insufficient.

A kitchenette is available for storing food and making simple preparations, but cooking is impractical: there is no proper cutlery for four, only three breakfast bowls, a single spatula, and the pans and plates do not feel clean. The dining area is the kitchen table with only two seats. The surrounding streets offer a high density of restaurants within a three-minute walk, including El Tigre, Yakitoro, Mercado de la Reina, Steakburger Gran Via, Celicioso Hortaleza, Oven Mozzarella Bar Gran Via and El Pezcador, all 0.5 km away.

No gym, pool, spa or leisure facilities are available. The location is suited for city sightseeing rather than on-site relaxation.

The apartment offers free WiFi and a washing machine. Air conditioning is included. There is no parking available and no lift - access is via a poorly maintained entrance and stairs that are dark, dirty and in disrepair. Reception staff speak Spanish. Check-in and check-out are both at 00:00. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is prohibited throughout the property.
