The hostel sits at the edge of the Born neighbourhood, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Picasso Museum is a 10-minute walk. Plaza Catalunya - with direct airport buses - is 20 minutes on foot, while Estación del Nord (buses to Girona-Costa Brava Airport) is 500 m. Barceloneta Beach is 2 km away. Bus stops right outside serve city routes, and the metro connects to the Gothic Quarter and main sites within walking distance.

Rooms measure 10 m2. The accommodation uses a pod system: 4-bed sections within a larger room, separated by partial walls that do not reach the ceiling, so noise travels. Private rooms are essentially the same pods with a sliding door that does not lock. Each pod has its own shower and toilet, but bathroom doors also lack proper locks. Bed linen is included. Under-bed lockers open outward, limiting space. No daily housekeeping unless requested. AC is centrally controlled - if uncomfortable, ask reception. Noise and light from neighbours is standard; earplugs and an eye mask are recommended for light sleepers.

Breakfast includes packaged croissant, sliced bread, ham, cheese, jam, butter, milk, juice, and coffee - a basic but cheap option. The large shared kitchen is equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker, fridge, and plenty of utensils, allowing self-catering. Several restaurants (Agarimo, Del Barri, La Tapa del Triomf) are within 0.5 km for other meals.

The park provides space for relaxing, jogging, and picnics. Barceloneta Beach is a 30-minute walk or short metro ride. The hostel has a shared lounge/TV area and a terrace. No on-site sports or wellness facilities; the location compensates with nearby leisure options.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour reception handles late arrivals and early check-outs. Luggage storage costs €5 for a small bag, €8 for a large suitcase per day (paid per hour if brief). Lockers are available. Daily housekeeping is not automatic - request at reception. The hostel provides key card access, CCTV in common areas, and a safe for valuables at reception. Accessible parking can be reserved nearby (€18/day). No pets allowed. Minors under 18 need a copy of an adult's passport for permission.
