APA HOTEL KAMATA EKI-NISHI, Tokyo

Kamata Station is within a 5-minute walk, providing direct rail connections to Tokyo, Shinagawa, Kamakura, and Odawara. Haneda Airport is accessible via a 25-minute public bus from the station or a 15-minute taxi ride. The immediate area offers a range of restaurants, bars, cafes, and retail stores within a 5-minute walk, including Noodle Shop Naokyu Kamata, Trattoria Le Porte, and a Don Quijote discount store. The hotel is a practical base for airport transit or exploring outlying areas, with easy access to central Tokyo without the higher accommodation costs.

Rooms feature a comfortable bed, a private bathroom with a bathtub, and a layout that makes efficient use of space. Each room includes a daily complimentary bottle of water and basic toiletries such as Q-tips. The rooms are spotlessly clean with an interior that feels recently refreshed. Beds are on the firmer side, with adjustable pillows available on request. For travellers with large luggage, be mindful that room space is limited and can feel cluttered quickly.

For meals, there is no restaurant or breakfast service at the hotel. Drink and snack vending machines are available on-site. The surrounding area within a 5-minute walk offers numerous dining options, including Italian (Trattoria Le Porte), Japanese noodle shops (Naokyu Kamata), and other casual eateries.

The hotel does not provide a pool, spa, gym, sauna, or other leisure amenities. For recreational activities, nearby attractions include Omori Hachiman Shrine, Miwa Itsukushima Shrine, Uramori Inari Shrine (3 km), and Tokujo-ji Temple and Showa no Kurashi Museum (4 km).

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/out, luggage storage (useful for early arrivals or late departures), and daily housekeeping. Laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers) are available and not heavily used. A lift serves all floors, and the hotel offers wheelchair-accessible rooms. Room service and dry cleaning are also available. The front desk can assist with ordering taxis, and staff generally speak English.
