APARTAMENTO PLAZA DE ESPANA, Madrid

The property sits on a quieter street within Malasaña, a neighbourhood packed with cafés, bars, restaurants, and independent shops. Plaza de España Metro Station is a 4-minute walk, and Gran Via Metro Station is 1 km away. Major landmarks such as the Temple of Debod (less than 1 km), Plaza Mayor (1 km), and the Royal Palace are within a 15-minute walk. Many key areas are reachable on foot, and the metro provides quick access to the rest of Madrid. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 18 km away, reachable by metro or the paid shuttle service. The immediate street offers bakeries, a mini supermarket, and a pharmacy, making self-catering easy.

Units range from compact studios to larger one-bedroom apartments. All include a private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, a balcony, a washing machine, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and tea/coffee maker. The apartments are modern and well-decorated, with wooden ceilings in some units. Travelers choosing a studio may find the space tight for two people. Some apartments face a quiet internal patio, while others face the street. Road-facing rooms and those near the lift have been noted for noise, so light sleepers may want to request a quieter unit. Bed comfort varies, with some mattresses described as firm and supportive, while others are noted as softer. For allergy-prone individuals, note that some furnishings include rugs and fabric headboards. Double-check the specific unit layout and photos when booking, as some studios are significantly smaller than depicted in promotional images.

Each apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, electric hob, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle, allowing guests to prepare their own meals easily. The location in Malasaña places guests within a 2-3 minute walk of a wide variety of dining options, including Masters Specialty Coffee, Carmencita Bar, Muleke Bar, Don Diego, and many others. A mini supermarket is located on the corner for groceries and essentials. The area is known for its brunch spots, tapas bars, and international restaurants. The property does not operate its own restaurant or breakfast service, so all meals are self-catered or taken at nearby establishments.

The property does not include a pool, spa, gym, or other recreational amenities. Guests seeking leisure activities can explore the surrounding Malasaña neighbourhood, known for its boutiques, art galleries, and cultural spots, or walk 10-15 minutes to major attractions like the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and the Temple of Debod. Flamenco shows are within a 10-minute walk.
