Located in a safe, tranquil neighbourhood, the residence is within walking distance of the Barrio del Pilar metro station (line 9), providing connections to central Madrid in about 30 minutes. Chamartin Railway Station is 2 km away, reachable on foot in about 20-25 minutes. The airport is roughly 13 km away - a 20-minute metro or Uber ride. Bus stops are just 4 minutes away, linking to the city centre in around 50 minutes. The area is well-served by shops: a Mercadona supermarket, a shopping centre, and several fast-food options are all within a short walk. Green spaces and a nearby park are ideal for runs or walks. While not in the city core, the location offers a quiet, practical base with easy access to transport and daily essentials.

Rooms are single or twin, each with a private bathroom (shower), air conditioning, heating, a wardrobe, and a work desk. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop - useful for preparing simple meals, but note that no cutlery, pots, pans, or basic cooking utensils are provided in the room. Beds are generally comfortable, and many rooms offer a pleasant view. Noise can be an issue: walls are thin, and activity in common areas or nearby rooms can be heard. Rooms directly facing the gym, the lift, or ground-floor common areas are noticeably noisier, so requesting a higher-floor room away from these zones is recommended for lighter sleepers. The building and furniture are modern, but some wear and tear (scratched floors, marks on walls) has been noted. Toiletries and extra toilet paper are not supplied.

The residence does not have a restaurant or bar, but each room's kitchenette allows for self-catering. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available. Several dining options are within walking distance: Montoya (0.5 km), Hoy Tortilla (0.5 km), Bar Bahia (0.5 km), and TETE'S Cafe and Bakery (1 km). A Burger King is also located near the campus. For groceries, a Mercadona supermarket is a short walk away, making it easy to stock up the kitchenette. The area also offers affordable cafés and restaurants for breakfast and meals away from the city-centre prices.
