APARTAMENTO VALLECAS PLAZA, Madrid

The apartment is situated in the popular Puente de Vallecas district, approximately 7-10 minutes' walk from the Nueva Numancia metro station, which provides a direct line into central Madrid (Sol station) in about 20 minutes. A bus stop right outside the building offers an alternative route to the centre. The area is safe and well-served by local shops, supermarkets (including Lidl), and numerous takeaways and restaurants - such as Restaurante El Faro, Picka Pizza, and La cervecera, all within 0.5 km. Puerta de Atocha is 4 km away, Reina Sofía Museum 4 km, and El Retiro Park 4 km. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 13 km from the property. Taxis and ride-shares are also easy to find.

This apartment features three separate bedrooms - one with a double bed and two with single beds - making it ideal for a family or small group. The living room includes a flat-screen TV with streaming services and parquet flooring, while blackout blinds help light sleepers rest well. Air conditioning and fans ensure year-round comfort, and ample storage includes a wardrobe. The compact shower cubicle works well for most but can be tight for taller or larger guests. Some stays have reported occasional hot water limitations, so avoid consecutive lengthy showers.

The kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee machine - everything needed to prepare full meals. A welcome gift of a bottle of wine, local sweets, fruit, and coffee capsules is provided on arrival. Basic cooking staples like spices are available, and supermarkets (including Lidl) are within a short walk. For those who prefer eating out, several restaurants, pizzerias, and takeaways are within 0.5 km, offering a range of cuisines and good value.

The property does not include a pool, spa, gym, or dedicated leisure areas. Relaxation centres on the comfortable, home-like apartment environment. The neighbourhood offers parks, local shops, and easy metro access to Madrid's main attractions, including Retiro Park, museums, and cultural venues.

Free Wi-Fi with speeds up to 112 Mbps supports streaming 4K content and video calls across multiple devices. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the apartment, along with detergent. Online check-in via a code allows flexible arrival after 5:00 PM, and guests can drop luggage from 11:30 AM while the apartment is being cleaned. The host is responsive and helpful via WhatsApp or messaging, and can assist with extra towels or resolving issues. An invoice is provided upon request. There is no lift or wheelchair access - the apartment is on a mezzanine floor with five steps.
