APARTMENT CLOSE TO AIRPORT, IFEMA, Madrid

The property is 5 km from Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport (about a 10-minute taxi ride) and 7 km from IFEMA. For leisure, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and El Retiro Park are roughly 13 km away, with Puerta del Sol 17 km distant. The residential complex, La Rosaleda de las Mercedes, is a 10-minute walk from the Plenilunio shopping centre and supermarkets (Aldi, Makro). Free street parking is available, making the location practical for those with a car. The neighbourhood is quiet, and the access to the airport/autoroute is straightforward. For non-drivers, a bus stop is very close, and taxi/Uber services into the centre cost around €10-20.

Each apartment is a self-contained unit with a living room, a separate bedroom, and a private bathroom with a bath or shower. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, oven, cookware, and kitchenware. Beds vary: some units offer one double or twin, others a sofa bed for additional guests, allowing configurations for up to 3, 5, or even 6 people. The apartment has parquet floors, air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and a washing machine. Some units feature a private pool. The sofa bed has been described as very firm, and pillows may feel uncomfortable. The living area curtains may not block all light, which can affect sleep quality for light-sensitive guests.

Paid on-site private parking costs €10 per day and must be reserved in advance. Free street parking is available nearby. The complex has a 24-hour security guard who can assist with access. Check-in is done remotely: self-check-in using a door code or key left inside; the guard may hold the key. The property provides an invoice for reception services. Wi-Fi is not available, so plan for connectivity. In practical terms, the remote check-in process can be inconsistent, so ensuring contact with the host before arrival is strongly advised. The property is a non-smoking environment only, and pets are not allowed. Housekeeping supplies and extra towels may not be provided, so bring your own if staying multiple nights.
