Rooms contain bunk beds with thin mattresses - some foam, some inflatable - and metal frames that creak. Air conditioning and heating are available, but ventilation can be poor, especially in interior rooms. Each bed has a small locker with a code for storing personal items. Storage space is very limited; larger bags must be left in the reception area without a receipt, so valuables should remain with you. Noise from the street and common areas is common, as windows are often kept open due to a lack of mechanical ventilation.

The 24-hour front desk handles check-in and general requests, but English proficiency among staff is limited, so having a translation app or basic Spanish phrases is helpful.
