LOOP ALCALA, Madrid

Positioned on Calle Alcalá around 6 km from the airport, El Retiro Park, and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The Ciudad Lineal metro station is a short walk away, providing direct train access to the city centre in about 15-20 minutes via line 5. Several bus stops, local shops, and chain restaurants are within walking distance. The surrounding neighbourhood is practical rather than scenic, and the property is close to IFEMA (5 km) and the Wanda Metropolitano stadium. For airport transfers, a paid shuttle service is available, but the metro or bus offer straightforward alternatives.

The accommodation consists of small, simply furnished rooms, many of which are located in a semi-basement with limited natural light and poor ventilation. Rooms lack storage: no wardrobe, hangers, or drawers, so clothes stay in the suitcase. All rooms have heating and a fan, but there is no air conditioning-summer heat can be uncomfortable, especially in ground-floor or basement rooms. Bed comfort varies; some beds are described as comfortable while others are firm. Thin walls and doors mean noise from neighbouring rooms and the hallway is clearly audible. Some rooms open onto an interior corridor rather than the street, reducing privacy when the window is open. Rooms with a private bathroom have a shower, hairdryer, and a work desk. Shared bathrooms are also available.

The property operates without a 24-hour reception desk. Access is via a code sent by email a day before arrival. The code opens the main door and the room door. Luggage storage is not available before 15:00. There is no daily cleaning, towel change, or bin emptying during stays-towel replacement can be requested. The water dispenser in the hallway is free to use. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge throughout the building. CCTV and fire extinguishers are present for safety. Parking is not available. Airport and shuttle services are bookable for an additional charge.
