APARTMENT RIPA 17, Rome

This property sits in a lively, bustling street in Trastevere, one of Rome's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Restaurants, bars, cafés, and a supermarket are within 300 metres. The Roman Forum is a short walk away, and many major sights-including the Pantheon-are reachable within 30 minutes on foot. Despite the energetic street life, well-insulated windows keep indoor spaces calm. The area feels very safe day and night. Rome Ciampino Airport is 16 km away; an airport shuttle can be arranged for an extra fee.

Choose from a one-bedroom apartment or a studio. Both feature air conditioning, soundproofing, a private entrance, parquet floors, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. The one-bedroom apartment has a kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware, plus inner courtyard views. The studio includes a kitchenette and city views. Each unit has a private bathroom with shower, bidet, free toiletries and bathrobes. Some apartments have a balcony and/or washing machine. The apartments are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-decorated. Those overlooking the inner courtyard are especially quiet. A tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, ironing facilities, and heating are provided. Cots can be requested. Apartments on the first floor are accessed via 21 steps with no lift.

The apartment has no restaurant, but each unit comes with a full kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchenware, and in some units a microwave and washing machine) - ideal for preparing meals and saving on dining costs. Basic cooking staples, coffee, tea, and cleaning products are often provided. Trastevere is lined with restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias, and bars within a 2-5 minute walk, including Cajo & Gajo, Ivo, and Ristorante Pizzeria Popi-Popi. Breakfast is not served on site, but nearby cafés are easy to reach. The location is well-suited for both self-catering and spontaneous dining out.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. An airport shuttle is available at an additional charge and can be arranged directly with the host. Check-in is handled via a self-service key locker at the entrance, allowing flexibility for late arrivals. Luggage storage can be arranged at the apartment or at a nearby deposit (30 metres away) if rooms are occupied. The host communicates promptly through WhatsApp, and can help arrange taxis or other transport. Pets are allowed on request at no extra charge. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, CartaSi, and JCB. The property has fire extinguishers and key access for safety. There is no lift, no parking, and no on-site restaurant, spa, or pool.
