CLUB WYNDHAM SEA GARDENS, Pompano Beach

The property spans both sides of A1A, with some buildings directly on the ocean side and others set back. The beach is a 2-5 minute walk via crosswalks. The Pompano Beach pier and a wide selection of dining and shopping are within a half-mile to 2 km walk. Isle Casino Pompano Park is a 10-minute drive, while the Discovery Museum and Loxahatchee Everglades Tours are 15 and 30 minutes away by car, respectively. The area is walkable for errands and leisure, and a nearby Publix grocery store is about 2 km away. Free public parking is available on adjacent streets and in a parking garage.

Rooms feature tropical décor with wood furniture. Most units have air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV; some include a washer/dryer. The rooms can be spacious, but some units, particularly in older buildings, show dated furniture and carpets. Units facing main roads or near pools may experience noise from thin walls and adjacent rooms. The bathrooms are private, though some have small showers or tubs that require care for those with mobility issues. Free Wi-Fi is available but can be unreliable in some buildings. For a quieter stay, the Key West building offers its own pool and balcony views. Studio units in the Ocean Palm building offer ocean views. Balcony availability varies by unit and must be confirmed at booking.

The tiki bar near the main pool offers beer, cocktails, and a snack menu, with live music on many days. A small on-site minimarket carries packaged snacks, drinks, and essentials, but prices are higher than at off-site stores. The nearest full-service restaurant, Seaside Grill, is a 1 km walk. A large Publix supermarket is a short drive for groceries, allowing guests with kitchen-equipped units to prepare their own meals. A poolside cafe operates seasonally for coffee and light breakfast items. Breakfast is not included or regularly available on-site.

The resort features multiple outdoor pools, including a heated main pool with a shallow end and a pool bar. Two hot tubs are open year-round. A fitness center with free weights and cardio machines is available 24/7. Active guests can use the tennis courts (free), a games room, and a golf course within 3 km. Daily activities include water aerobics, bingo, karaoke, and happy hour, often centered at the tiki bar. A private beach area with sun loungers and chairs is across the street; beach chair and umbrella rentals are available for a daily fee. The property's tropical gardens and picnic areas are well-maintained and inviting for relaxation. Some pools close at dusk, and the pool bar may have early closing times.
