South Kensington's museum district and Hyde Park are both within a 20-minute walk. Earl's Court station is on the District and Piccadilly lines, giving direct journeys to Heathrow Airport (25 minutes by taxi or about 40 minutes by Tube) and central sights. The location is a strong base for sightseeing or commuting, though rooms facing the railway may experience train noise throughout the night.

The hotel offers single, double and family rooms. Many rooms are small, with a sink in the bedroom and a wardrobe. Some rooms have a window, while others are windowless. Rooms facing the street have some street noise, but rooms facing the railway line can have frequent train noise from early morning until late at night. The building has no lift, so upper-floor rooms require climbing stairs. Heating can be adjustable via room controls or a fan is provided in warmer weather. Bedding and rooms are clean on arrival, but the carpets and furniture show significant wear and staining. Rooms with an en-suite bathroom offer a private shower and toilet; shared bathroom facilities are located on a different floor. Some rooms have carpeted floors.

Breakfast is not served on-site, and there is no dining room. A shared kitchen in the basement provides a kettle and microwave so you can prepare simple meals or hot drinks. No tea or coffee is provided in the rooms, and there is no in-room kettle.
