The hotel sits in the Ghetto Nuovo area of Cannaregio, a vibrant neighbourhood with outdoor markets, restaurants, and shops. The Guglie vaporetto stop is within easy walking distance, providing direct water-bus access to the airport (via Alilaguna) and the main tourist sites. Santa Lucia railway station is reachable in about ten minutes on foot, making the hotel practical for train travellers. The immediate area offers numerous dining options, including Al Timon, Osteria Bentigodi, and Enoteca Do Colonne, all within 300 metres. The Grand Canal and the Venice Casino are just 250 metres away. The location is well placed for exploring both the historic centre and the quieter local streets.

Rooms are equipped with a telephone, hairdryer, and heating. Single rooms have a private bathroom; double rooms may have a private or shared bathroom. Shared bathrooms are used by one other room only, and towels are changed daily. Some rooms are located in a separate building in the Ca' D'oro area, about 500 metres from the main check-in building - a walk that involves crossing bridges. The junior suite includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area, electric kettle, and cookware. Bed configurations vary: some double rooms consist of two single beds pushed together. Room sizes range from very compact to spacious, with some featuring traditional Venetian furniture. Noise levels can be higher in ground-floor rooms near the breakfast area or on streets with late-night activity. Mosquito nets may be damaged; rooms with sealed windows are recommended during warmer months. There is no elevator, and some rooms are on upper floors.

Breakfast is a continental and Italian buffet available daily between approximately 8:00 and 10:00. It includes a selection of sweet pastries, bread, butter, jam, yoghurt, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, and hot beverages. The breakfast room is located near the main building. While the offering is filling and varied, there is no hot cooked option such as eggs. For other meals, the area surrounding the hotel is filled with restaurants, trattorias, and pizzerias - all within a few minutes' walk - including Gam Gam, which also serves kosher breakfast. The hotel itself does not have an on-site restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner.
