The hotel sits on a quiet canal just off the busy Strada Nuova, placing you within easy walking distance of both the Rialto Bridge and the Venetian Ghetto. The S. Marcuola waterbus stop is a 5-minute walk, connecting directly to the Grand Canal and the Alilaguna airport service. Venice Santa Lucia train station is a 15-minute walk. The surrounding streets are filled with shops, restaurants, and local bars, with several supermarkets and eateries within 300 metres. The area is lively in the evening, especially near the annex and the neighbouring bar, but the main hotel remains calm. Many visitors find the central yet slightly residential location ideal for exploring on foot.

All rooms include a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Most rooms feature canal views, but those in the annex face the street or an inner courtyard. Canal views can be added to a deluxe room for a €25 supplement (subject to availability). Room sizes vary: single rooms are compact, while family rooms are spacious. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding. The air conditioning works effectively in summer but is turned off during cooler months, making rooms hot and requiring windows to be opened - which can let in noise from the bar and nearby construction. Sound insulation is poor; noise from neighbouring rooms and staff preparing breakfast in the morning is common. Rooms on higher floors avoid some street noise, but top-floor rooms (no lift) can get very warm. No rooms have balconies.

Breakfast is a continental buffet offering bread, pastries, cakes, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, fruit juice, and hot drinks. It costs €15 per person and runs from 7:45 to 10:00. Gluten-free options are available on request. Breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant Osteria Santa Fosca, which also opens for dinner and cocktail hour. Many visitors enjoy sitting outside by the canal. The breakfast selection is described as adequate but not extensive - suitable as a start before a day of exploring. The restaurant is also open for evening meals, serving local dishes and house wine. Several cafés, pizzerias, and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk.

There are no wellness facilities on site. The nearest options for relaxation are the many cafés and bars along the canal, where you can sit with a drink after a day of sightseeing. The hotel restaurant Osteria Santa Fosca also functions as a bar and lounge area, offering a place to unwind in the evening.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in and after check-out, allowing you to explore unencumbered. The 24-hour reception offers concierge, tour desk, and private check-in/out services. A paid shuttle service to the airport or cruise port can be arranged, with a private water taxi costing around €90-€160 depending on destination.
