ART APARTMENTS, Berlin

A five-minute walk reaches the Natural History Museum, while the Memorial of the Berlin Wall is under one kilometre away. Major attractions like Pergamon Museum, Brandenburg Gate, and Reichstag are within three kilometres. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 30 km from the property. The immediate area is tourist-oriented with a supermarket and drugstore nearby. Several restaurants are within a 0.3-0.5 km radius, including Italian, German, and Turkish options. The property's entrance is located in a courtyard, which may require a brief search. The U-Bahn station provides direct connections across the city, and a tram stop is also a short walk away.

Room types include studios, double rooms, triple rooms, quadruple rooms, and two-bedroom suites. All rooms have private bathrooms with walk-in showers, hairdryers, and free toiletries. Amenities include air conditioning, heating, tea and coffee makers, refrigerators, electric kettles, flat-screen TVs, and wardrobes. Some rooms have sofa beds, parquet floors, and balconies or terraces. Interior courtyard-facing rooms are quieter, while street-facing rooms are exposed to noise from traffic and emergency vehicles. Room sizes are generally spacious, but storage is limited, with few hooks or shelves; some rooms lack chairs and tables. Bed comfort is generally good, though pillows are large and firm. The bathrooms are clean and modern, though some have layout issues with limited space. Rooms are modern and clean, but soundproofing between rooms and from the hallway is poor. Disability-accessible rooms are available and can be booked by anyone.

The property does not operate its own restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. Each room is equipped with an electric kettle, tea and coffee makings, and a mini-fridge, suitable for basic self-catering. A variety of restaurants are within a short walk: Ristorante Pascarella and Bierstube Alt Berlin (0.5 km), Schnitzelei (0.5 km), and several others including Asian, Turkish, and Italian options. Supermarkets are a few blocks away, allowing guests to stock the fridge. Given the lack of kitchen utensils or crockery (only disposable cups are provided), eating in is limited.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property at no extra charge, though connectivity has been noted as unstable or non-functional. Private on-site parking costs €10 per day and must be reserved in advance by messaging the property. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or after check-out. The building has a lift, though it is narrow and may not suit all mobility devices. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms and common areas. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and a no-smoking policy (smoking is allowed on balconies, though balcony furniture is removed in autumn). Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. There is no daily housekeeping service unless arranged. Invoicing for business stays has been problematic due to lack of contact with management.
