The Prado Museum and Reina Sofia Art Gallery are a 10-minute walk, while Plaza Mayor and Plaza Santa Ana are even closer. Puerta del Sol and Sol transport hub are 350 metres away, giving access to metro, bus and cercanías trains. Barajas Airport is 20-30 km away and reachable via metro or a direct bus from Atocha station. The area is lively at all hours, which is convenient for dining and exploring but means street-facing apartments can be noisy at night.

Each apartment is fitted with a kitchen area with hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle and basic cookware. Bathrooms are private with a shower and good water pressure. Rooms are air-conditioned and heated, but some units have limited heating capacity in winter and hot water may run out after two short showers. Bed configurations vary - some units offer a large double bed, others four single beds - and sofa beds when present convert to full-sized singles. Not all apartments have a balcony. Units facing the inner courtyard have very little natural light and can be dark.
