THE HOTEL AT TIMES SQUARE, New York

The hotel is situated on 47th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, offering direct access to Times Square, the Theatre District, and a wide range of restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe and Carmine's within a 5-minute walk. Public transport is excellent, with subway access nearby and Penn Station a 13-block walk. The location is ideal for sightseeing, shows, and exploring Midtown Manhattan. However, the area is extremely busy and can be noisy, particularly for rooms facing the square.

Accommodation options include standard rooms with one or two beds, family suites with connecting rooms, and premium Marquee Suites with terraces and city views. Room sizes vary: standard rooms are described as small but functional for sleeping and exploring, while suites offer more space for families or longer stays. Many rooms feature air conditioning (though some units can be noisy), flat-screen TVs, and in-room safes. Bathrooms are noted as very small, with limited shelf space, and some lack ventilation fans. Road-facing rooms can be noisy; rooms on higher floors or facing away from the square tend to be quieter. Coffee makers are not standard in all rooms but are available on request.

The hotel features several dining venues: Bond 45 serves Italian cuisine and a breakfast buffet; Friedman's offers a sit-down breakfast with singing servers and has gluten-free options; Carve Unique Sandwiches & Pizza provides a quick breakfast and pizza; and the Rum House is a jazz bar. A complimentary grab-and-go breakfast is included with the resort fee, offering items like pastries, coffee, and yogurt. For a sit-down breakfast, an additional $6.50 per person applies. Dinner reservations are recommended, especially at Bond 45 and Friedman's, which are popular with theatre-goers.

The hotel offers a complimentary fitness centre equipped with basic exercise machines, suitable for maintaining a workout routine while travelling. Additional leisure options include the on-site Rum House jazz bar and periodic wine and entertainment events in the lobby. The hotel's prime location also provides easy access to Central Park and other outdoor attractions.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge service and luggage storage for a $1 per bag fee. A business centre with free fax/photocopying is available. Daily housekeeping is free, while laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. Security includes CCTV, key card access, and a guard who checks room keys at the elevator lobby. The hotel has a lift and offers facilities for disabled guests and family rooms.
