BARRY HOUSE, London

The hotel sits on the Hyde Park estate, less than 350 metres from Paddington Station (serving the Heathrow Express, Elizabeth Line, Circle, District, and Bakerloo lines). Hyde Park is 3 minutes away on foot, and Oxford Street shopping is 2 km (2 km) away. The area around Paddington is well-served by buses and underground stations, and numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops are within a 2-minute walk. The location is ideal for visitors arriving by train from Heathrow or for those attending events at Hyde Park.

Accommodation ranges from single and twin rooms to family rooms for 4-5 guests. Family rooms on the ground and first floors are available, and some have air conditioning (only a limited number of rooms are air-conditioned). Single rooms are only on the 3rd and 4th floor, accessed by stairs. Some rooms have private bathrooms; others share a hall bathroom. All rooms have windows. Beds are generally firm, and the décor is practical rather than modern. Noise can be an issue in rooms facing the street, and some rooms may feel small for more than 2 people. A fan is provided in rooms without air conditioning.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant or bar. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but a cold breakfast pack (non-cooked) can be provided in the room upon request. All rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities. The surrounding area offers a wide selection of cafés, pubs, and restaurants - several are within 300 metres, including Italian, Chinese, and brasserie options. For guests who prefer a full cooked breakfast, there are cafés along the main street toward Paddington Station.

Barry House has no spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, or gym. For leisure, Hyde Park is a 3-minute walk away and provides walking and cycling paths, boating on the Serpentine, and the Hyde Park Stables in Bathurst Mews offering horse riding and lessons. The park also hosts major events such as the BST Hyde Park festival. Guests looking for more extensive sports or spa facilities will need to travel to other central London venues.
