The hotel is situated directly adjacent to Interstate 75, making it easy for highway access but also subjecting rooms to traffic noise. It is approximately 3-8 km from Shands Hospital and 10 km from the Florida Museum of Natural History. Several chain restaurants (Pizza Hut, Perkins, Red Lobster) are within a 2 km radius, and a Home Depot parking lot and swamp are adjacent to the property. Free private parking is available nearby without a reservation.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with free toiletries, a flat-screen cable TV, coffee-making facilities, a small refrigerator, a work desk, and ironing facilities. Some rooms include a sofa bed. The property has a mix of double, quadruple, and suite configurations. However, the rooms are described as outdated and cramped, with laminate flooring that is often damaged and unclean. Noise from both the highway and neighboring guests is common, and the air conditioning units may be loud. Balconies are not available.
