QUALITY INN GAINESVILLE I-75, Gainesville

The property is right next to the I-75 exit, making it a convenient stop for travellers using the interstate. The University of Florida and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium are 7 km away, and the Gainesville Regional Airport is 14 km. Nearby attractions include the Florida Museum of Natural History and Butterfly Rainforest (5 km) and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens (5 km). Shopping centres and medical services are within a short drive. The area is car-dependent; while the immediate neighbourhood offers basic services, exploring the city requires a vehicle. Parking on site is free and no reservation is needed.

Accommodation types include double rooms (with 1 or 2 beds), quadruple rooms (2 beds), and suites with a seating area and cable TV. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a bath or shower, plus a hairdryer. The property has a dated feel - carpets show wear and rooms may have mould or humidity issues in certain units. Road-facing rooms can be noisier due to proximity to I-75. For a potentially quieter stay and better air quality, request a room on the second floor (lift accessible) and away from the interstate. Some rooms have reported cleanliness inconsistencies, so inspecting the room upon check-in is advisable. No rooms have balconies.

The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally and offers a place to relax after a day of travel or sightseeing. The fitness centre provides basic exercise equipment. There is no spa, sauna, or additional wellness facilities on site. The pool area is located on the property and is accessible to all guests. Families with children have used the pool and reported enjoyable experiences. No lifeguard is on duty.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Free on-site public parking is provided without reservation. A lift gives access to upper floors for easier movement with luggage or mobility needs. Laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are on site at an economical cost. The front desk can arrange meeting/banquet facilities and fax/photocopying. Housekeeping is available but may not be provided daily unless requested. There is no airport shuttle service. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, JCB, Discover, and MasterCard. A refundable deposit is often required at check-in.
