B&B HOTEL VALENCIA ARENA, Valencia

The hotel is located around 2 km from Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences and Aquarium, making those landmarks easily walkable in about 20 minutes. The city centre is 3 km away, reachable by bus line 7 or 99 in roughly 10 minutes; the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Las Arenas Beach is 5 km away, and the Feria Valencia is a 20-minute drive. La Fe Hospital is 800 metres away. The area surrounding the hotel is a working-class residential zone with limited dining within a 10-15 minute walk - a McDonald's and an Aldi supermarket are a couple of minutes away. The hotel sits on a large roundabout, so traffic noise can be noticeable; rooms facing away from the roundabout are quieter. For those driving, access from the highway is straightforward.

The hotel offers double, twin and family rooms. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, a minibar, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and a safe deposit box. Double Plus rooms additionally feature a coffee machine and cups. Family rooms have an extra bed for a third person at 19 € per night; cots cannot be added. The family rooms are compact - travellers needing more space may prefer booking two rooms. Room sizes are functional rather than spacious, and the style is basic but clean. Road-facing rooms can experience noise from traffic and ambulance sirens day and night. Light sleepers should request a room away from the roundabout. The cleaning schedule covers daily towel changes and bin emptying, but deeper cleaning can be inconsistent; dust has been noted in corners and under furniture. For stays longer than one night, guests can opt to forgo daily cleaning in exchange for a breakfast voucher through the hotel's sustainability programme.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas; connection quality can vary depending on room location and time of day - afternoons tend to be slower. A 24-hour front desk handles late-night arrivals (after midnight is fine) and can assist with luggage storage after check-out free of charge. Bicycle rental is available for an additional charge, and car hire can be arranged at reception. The on-site private parking costs 13 € per day, with an electric vehicle charging point included. An outdoor terrace and garden provide seating. The business centre and meeting/banquet facilities are available for a charge. A safety deposit box is free. For families, cots cannot be added but children up to 12 can stay in the family room. The hotel has a lift and offers facilities for disabled guests. The entire property is non-smoking. The terrace and garden provide a quiet outdoor area to relax. No pool, spa, gym or airport shuttle are available.
