The hostel is well-placed for beach visits and harbour strolls, with the nearest beach (Playa de las Arenas) reachable in about 15 minutes on foot. The metro station Maritim-Serrería (line 5/7) is a 6-minute walk and provides a direct link to Valencia Airport (40 minutes) and Joaquín Sorolla train station (15 minutes by metro). A bus stop (line 92) is just 50 metres away for connections to the city centre and bus station. A 24-hour Carrefour Express supermarket is directly opposite. The area has a good selection of restaurants, bars and bike rental (Bike and Rolls nearby). While the hostel is convenient for the port and beach, the historic centre is about an hour's walk or a short metro ride. The surrounding streets can feel quiet at night.

All rooms are exterior and bright, overlooking the street, and some include a spacious terrace or balcony. Dormitory beds come with a privacy curtain, reading lamp, individual socket, and an electronic-lock locker for storing personal items. Extra lockers can be rented from reception. The private double rooms include a flat-screen TV, private bathroom with shower, free toiletries, and daily housekeeping (bed linen and towels provided). The building has a lift, and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Some rooms have been described as spacious with large lockers, while others may feel compact due to the bunk-bed layout. Noise from the street can be an issue in rooms facing the avenue, and the hostel can be lively at night - light sleepers may want earplugs.

The on-site bar (Urban Youth Bar) is open daily from 08:00 to 23:30, offering Spanish cuisine, vegan options, and a range of drinks including wine and champagne. Breakfast is paid separately and is a continental-style buffet. A fully equipped self-catering kitchen with multiple stovetops, fridges and a microwave is available for guests who prefer to cook. The shared dining room has a TV and a large projector for sports events. Several restaurants - including Dolce Milano, Fuji III, El Kapricho, and Bodega La Peseta - are within a 5-minute walk. The kitchen may have limited utensils and some cleanliness concerns, so self-caterers may want to plan accordingly.

The shared lounge on the ground floor is a spacious chill-out area with sofas and a library, plus a back patio for relaxing. Several terraces provide outdoor seating. The dining room doubles as a games/TV room where sports are screened on a large projector. For active guests, the beach (Arenas and Malvarrosa) is within 15-20 minutes on foot, and bike rental is available nearby through Bike and Rolls. The City of Arts and Sciences is a 20-minute walk. Self-service washing and drying machines are available for laundry.
