BEST WESTERN TALLAHASSEE DOWNTOWN INN AND SUITES, Tallahassee

The hotel is situated 2 km from Odyssey Science Center and 4 km from Florida State Capitol, making it practical for visiting government buildings and the university. Tallahassee Regional Airport is 11 km away. Many restaurants are within a 0.5 km walk, including BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, Jimmy John's, and Wendy's. The area is car-dependent; the entrance road is steep and the setting is somewhat tucked away, so driving is the most straightforward way to access major sites. Free on-site parking is a key convenience.

Accommodation types include standard rooms, family rooms, and a King Suite with sofabed. Room conditions vary widely: some are clean and spacious with laminate flooring, while others are dated with carpet that can be musty. Noise from exterior corridor access and neighbouring rooms can occur; upper-floor rooms at the back are quieter. Bedding and mattress comfort are inconsistent. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. All rooms have a private bathroom, though condition varies. No rooms have a balcony.

The seasonal outdoor pool is open from 06:00 to 21:00 daily, weather permitting. Sun loungers and beach chairs are provided free of charge. A nearby golf course is available (within 3 km, additional charge). There is no gym, spa, or other leisure facilities on site.
