Bluebird Guesthouse offers rooms named after authors and one musician. All rooms include private bathrooms. The Gabriel Garcia-Marquez room, located on the main floor, features a king bed, original built-in armoire, desk, reading chair, and in-room controls for both A/C and heat. Windows offer backyard views. The en-suite bathroom has a claw-foot tub with shower, toilet, and period sink. The Beverly Cleary room, upstairs, includes a king bed, antique armoire and dresser, reading chair, desk, and in-room controls for A/C and heat. It overlooks the front yard and has a private en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink, and modern shower. The Ursula K. Le Guin room, on the upper floor, provides a queen bed and large windows with neighborhood views. It features a vaulted ceiling, large closet, antique desk, reading chair, and in-room controls for A/C and heat. The private bathroom is down the hall and includes a toilet room with sink and a separate modern shower. Each room includes premium bedding, laptop-friendly workspaces, free Wi-Fi, and bathrobes. Rooms are ready by 3 PM.

Bluebird Guesthouse offers a complimentary continental breakfast. The breakfast includes coffee, tea, dairy/plant milks, orange juice, hot chocolate, yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, bagels and bread with spreads, pastries, fruit, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, breakfast bars, and nuts. Vegan bagels and gluten-free options are available. Guests have access to a full kitchen for meal preparation. The kitchen includes a refrigerator and storage. Guests are asked to clean the space after use.

Guests are welcome to relax in the social rooms. Laundry machines are available from 4-10 PM. An iron and board are available. The property offers gig-speed Wi-Fi throughout. A guest computer is available. Minimum age for children is 6 years. Kids are welcome to visit during the day. The property includes safety features: a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, and a first aid kit.

The Division/Clinton area is known for its restaurants, shops, cafes, and gardens. The Guesthouse is a short drive to other neighborhoods, Reed College, and the west side of town. Clinton Street is an official Portland Bike Boulevard. The Guesthouse is 10-15 minutes from downtown, with City Bus 2 stopping one block away. Oregon Zoo and Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area are easily accessible. Take Madison over the Hawthorne Bridge to 11th Ave.

Bluebird Guesthouse offers helpful staff. Complimentary laundry machines are available. Check-in is at 3 PM. Check-out is at 12 PM. Guests can drop off luggage early or store it after check-out. Street parking is free and available on Division St and side streets. Bicycle parking is available in the basement. Rooms are not automatically serviced during check-in; however, requests can be accommodated. A twin mattress can be added to select rooms upon request. The Guesthouse has a two-room per party limit.
