Blue Palms Resort is located one block from the Wildwood Boardwalk and beach, placing it close to the main attractions. Morey's Piers is a 5-minute walk away, and the Wildwoods Convention Center is 1 km from the hotel. Cape May Lighthouse is a 30-minute drive. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Schellenger's Restaurant, Pink Cadillac Diner, and Pasta Pesto Italian Grill. The immediate area is walkable, and free private parking is available on-site for those arriving by car. Noise from the nearby outdoor bar, The Point, can carry across the street, particularly on weekends, so lighter sleepers may want to plan accordingly.

The property offers a range of room types, including standard rooms with two queen beds or two double beds, king rooms, family rooms with two twin bunk beds plus a queen bed, and two-room suites with separate living areas and a sofa bed. All rooms come with a small refrigerator, convection microwave, and flat-screen TV. Coffee makers are available in Family Rooms and Pool View Suites. Rooms do not have full kitchen stoves, and only select suites have kitchenettes with a sink. Most rooms overlook the outdoor pool, though some face the parking lot. Outdoor seating areas are small patios rather than full balconies. First-floor rooms may hear noise from above, and the entire U-shaped building around the pool can amplify sound. There is no elevator.

Blue Palms Resort does not have its own restaurant. A coffee machine is available in the lobby with complimentary coffee. For meals, the surrounding area offers a variety of restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including Schellenger's Restaurant, Banana's Ice Cream Parlor Cafe, Pink Cadillac Diner, Red Oak Restaurant, Pasta Pesto Italian Grill, and Rusty Rudder Restaurant. Cattle 'n Clover Irish Pub and Steak House and Flow House Bar & Grille are about a 5-minute walk away. Barbecue facilities are available on the outdoor sundeck for guest use. The outdoor swimming pool is seasonal, typically open from Memorial Day weekend through September, operating daily from 10:00 to 21:00. Both pools are heated. Two sundecks provide lounging space, and outdoor furniture and a fire pit are available. Barbecue grills are located on the sundeck. Complimentary bicycles are available for guests. There is no on-site spa or wellness center. The Point bar across the street can produce loud music and vibrations that carry into the property, particularly on holiday weekends.

Parking is free and private, available on-site without a reservation; however, parking is limited and extra vehicles may need to find paid off-site parking. Daily housekeeping is included.
