CALIFORNIA INN - ANAHEIM BY DISNEYLAND, Anaheim

The property is situated in a residential area near Disneyland, making it a practical base for park visits. A bus stop at the entrance connects directly to Disneyland for $2 per person, and ride-shares to the parks cost about $7. The immediate surroundings include a liquor store and taco truck on-site, with several fast-food restaurants within a 1 km walk. The area is quiet during the day but may feel less safe after dark; using the bus or driving is recommended for nighttime outings. John Wayne Airport is 20 km away.

Each room includes a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. All rooms have a balcony with inner courtyard views, a tea and coffee maker, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Some rooms feature a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and complimentary snacks. Family rooms offer bunk beds. While many rooms have been recently updated with modern finishes, cleanliness has been inconsistent across stays; it is wise to inspect the room upon arrival and request immediate attention if needed. Noise from thin walls and upstairs foot traffic can be noticeable; upper-floor rooms away from the courtyard tend to be quieter.

The property does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant. Each room is stocked with complimentary snacks, bottled water, and a Keurig coffee maker. A convenience store and a taco truck are located on the premises, and several fast-food chains are within a short walk. For a wider selection, the Anaheim Packing House (a dining market) is a 5-minute drive away.

The courtyard features outdoor games for children and a seating area. The property does not have a swimming pool, fitness centre, or spa. Local leisure options include ice skating, kayaking, and canoeing in the surrounding area, but these are not on-site. The parking lot offers views of Disneyland fireworks in the evening.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property at no charge. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and can assist with late check-ins, luggage storage, and requests for housekeeping. Housekeeping is provided on request; towels and linens can be changed promptly. Parking requires a reservation and costs $8 per night. The property does not offer a shuttle, but the public bus stop at the entrance serves Disneyland. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards. No pet facilities are available.
