Palm Springs International Airport is 4 km away. Free street parking is available directly outside. The location on a quiet side street keeps the property peaceful despite its proximity to downtown activity. Mountain views are unobstructed from the property.

Each of the 10 rooms features authentic mid-century modern design, with original architectural details. Beds are either one king (Hideaway Suites and Town King) or one queen (Desert Queen). Rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, refrigerator, and complimentary snacks and drinks upon arrival. Hideaway Suites add cooking facilities: a 2-burner stove, microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker. Many rooms have a record player with vinyl records. The spacious layout allows for a separate seating area, and garden views are common. Street-facing rooms may experience some road noise, but the area is generally very quiet.

The Hideaway does not operate a restaurant, café, or bar, and breakfast is not provided. All meals must be obtained from the many restaurants and cafes within a two-block walk along Palm Canyon Drive, including options such as Zin American Bistro, Happy Sushi, and Las Casuelas Terraza. Each room includes a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities; Hideaway Suites also offer a stove and microwave for self-catering.

The outdoor swimming pool is open all year and heated to approximately 30.0 °C in winter, making it consistently swimmable. Surrounding the pool are sun loungers, shaded seating areas, and well-kept gardens with mountain views. An outdoor fireplace and fire pit add a relaxing evening option. The pool area is maintained as a quiet, adults-only zone - guests are expected to respect the peaceful atmosphere. No spa, gym, or jacuzzi is available.

All rooms and outdoor areas have free Wi-Fi. Free public parking is available on the street directly outside - no reservation is needed and it is usually easy to find. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge, and luggage can be dropped off from 9:00-10:00 if arriving before check-in. Safety features include CCTV outside, a safety deposit box, and key access.
