Bologna's historic city centre is a 30-minute walk away, or a short bus ride from the stop 500 metres from the property. Bologna S. Vitale train station is a 4-minute walk, providing a direct 2-minute train connection to Bologna Centrale station (3 km away). A taxi from Bologna Central Station costs around €16 and takes 15 minutes; the airport is a 15-minute taxi ride (€20-25). A Lidl supermarket is nearby for supplies. The surrounding area is quiet and green, but the immediate vicinity near the train station can feel desolate at night. Electric bikes are available for rent via the Ridemovi app.

Rooms are available as single or double occupancy, with the option of a double bed or twin beds. Double beds are made by pushing two single beds together; rooms are compact and may lack space for large luggage. Most rooms have no balconies. Some rooms feature a small balcony with a view, and some rooms on higher floors offer city views. Rooms are soundproofed, but those facing student common areas may experience noise from parties. Daily housekeeping is included, but room servicing may involve staff reorganising belongings. Hairdryers are provided; kettles can be borrowed from reception. Slippers are available on request.

Breakfast is offered from 7:00 to 9:30 on weekdays and 7:30 to 10:00 on Sundays. The buffet includes croissants, eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit juices, yoghurt, cereals, bread, cold cuts, and cheese. A hot breakfast is available, and a pocket breakfast can be arranged for early departures. The canteen serves evening meals at a student-friendly price (around €13).
