The hostel sits in the real heart of Madrid, within easy walking distance of Puerta de Atocha (12 minutes), Reina Sofia Museum (700 metres), and Plaza Mayor (less than 1 km). Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 15 km away and accessible by direct bus from Atocha station. The metro (Antón Martín) is less than a 2-minute walk and provides straightforward connections to the main tourist areas and transport hubs. The immediate neighbourhood has several supermarkets, ATMs, and a wide range of restaurants and bars. The area is lively, which means street noise can reach the dormitories - planning earplugs is advisable for light sleepers.

Accommodation is in shared dormitories with bunk beds. Each bed is equipped with a personal reading light and a power socket. Rooms are located in the basement or interior, have no windows, and rely on floor-standing fans (no air conditioning), leading to poor ventilation and stale air. The lower bunk beds have very limited headroom - sitting upright is impractical. Room dividers are made of cloth, so noise travels easily between rooms and from the hallway. No lockers are provided inside the rooms; all belongings must be kept in the paid lockers located in the common entrance area. Bed linens are provided, but the quality is basic, and some mattresses are described as worn. The hostel offers soundproofed rooms and heating, which help with noise and winter comfort, but the cramped layout and lack of storage inside the rooms make it a stay best suited for short, budget-conscious trips.

The hostel provides a fully equipped shared kitchen with a hob, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and basic cooking utensils and cookware. The kitchen is open from 07:00 to 00:30. No breakfast is provided. For those who prefer not to cook, the area around the hostel has many restaurants, tapas bars, and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk - including Taberna Mas Al Sur, Rosi La Loca Taberna, and Inclan Brutal Bar (all 0.5 km away). Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available on site. The kitchen table is very small and is often in use, so cooking at peak times can be crowded.
