Casa Yako sits on a quiet street off 5th Avenue, yet the beach is only 3 minutes on foot and the main pedestrian shopping and dining strip is 30 metres away. The ADO International Bus Station is 2 km away, Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal is 3 km, and Cancún International Airport is about 55 minutes by car. The property is one block from 5th Avenue, so nearly all local restaurants, bars and shops are reachable on foot, but the street itself stays calm at night. A 7-Eleven is 30 metres from the building. Free on-site parking is available for four cars; metered street parking is an alternative if the lot is full.

Units range from compact studios to one-bedroom apartments, all with private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens (stovetop, fridge, microwave, kitchenware, tea/coffee maker). Air conditioning is included, and many units have a private patio or terrace with city or courtyard views. The Superior Studio (room 11) features a bathtub and private patio. Upper-floor rooms (3rd floor) tend to be quieter, while ground-floor rooms (1-3) are adjacent to the laundry and maintenance area, so noise from housekeeping can be heard from early morning until early evening. Some rooms have limited natural light and are darker than shown in photos. All rooms are adults-only, smoke-free, and have soundproof walls between rooms. Kitchen basics such as oil, salt and pepper are often provided. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for guest use.

The rooftop offers a shared sun terrace with a solarium, hammocks, a large table and chairs - a calm spot to unwind after a day at the beach. The property also provides free beach chairs and umbrellas for guests to take to the nearby beach. Nearby off-site water parks, diving and fishing opportunities can be arranged. Note that a construction site next to the building currently limits the rooftop's tranquillity; it is expected to be quieter once the works are complete.

Free Wi-Fi (100 MB capacity) is available in all rooms. On-site parking is free for up to 4 cars (first come, first served); street parking is available for approx. 50 MXN/night. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. The property offers a paid airport shuttle (1600 MXN) and can also arrange private transport.
