SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT COLORADO SPRINGS SOUTH, Colorado Springs

The hotel is situated in a business park, a 30-minute drive from Manitou Incline and Garden of the Gods (19 km). The airport is a 2-minute drive away, and the area provides convenient access to restaurants, shops, and a gas station within walking distance. The surrounding neighbourhood feels safe with ample parking. For those without a car, rideshare services are the primary transport option. The proximity to the airport makes it a practical choice for early flights or overnight layovers.

Each room includes air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower or bath, a work desk, flat-screen TV with cable, and a kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge. Most suites offer either a king bed or two queen beds plus a pull-out trundle sofa bed, accommodating up to five people. Some rooms feature mountain views. While rooms are generally clean and spacious, the property is older and could benefit from updates. Noise from thin walls and dogs is possible - the hotel is pet-friendly. Light sleepers may want to request a room away from high-traffic areas. Beds are generally comfortable, though firmness varies.

Breakfast includes bread for toast, waffles (weekends only), and hot items when available, but the selection can run out early, especially on busy mornings. The breakfast area can become crowded and is not always replenished promptly. A kid-friendly buffet is provided. For a fuller meal, nearby restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel also has a minimarket selling snacks and drinks.

The indoor pool is heated to above 27 °C and is generally well-liked by families, though it may feel slightly cool. The pool is occasionally closed for maintenance; when this happens, guests can use the pool at a nearby affiliated hotel (a short walk away). The fitness centre is free and provides basic equipment. There are no jacuzzi or spa facilities on site. Outdoor picnic areas and garden furniture offer a place to relax outside.

Accessible parking and a lift are provided. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. The business centre offers free fax/photocopying; meeting/banquet facilities can be booked at an extra cost. A minimarket on site sells essentials. The 24-hour front desk can assist with safety deposit boxes and key card access. Pets are allowed with a $150 non-refundable fee (up to 2 pets). The property is non-smoking with designated outdoor smoking areas. Early check-in before 1PM incurs a $25 fee. The hotel is independently operated, so some policies may differ from other Marriott properties.
