CHAMPIONS WORLD RESORT, Kissimmee

The property sits on a main road in a busy area filled with restaurants (126 Chinese, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Subway, Boardwalk Brothers Wings, 7-Eleven all within 0.5 km), gift shops, and grocery stores including a large Walmart. The free hotel shuttle serves Disney's Epcot three times daily, but it can fill up quickly and takes about 90 minutes one way; Uber or driving is a faster alternative. For car-free trips, many area eateries and shops are within a short walk, though sidewalks along the main road are limited. The location is convenient for park-goers but feels less walkable for longer distances.

The breakfast buffet is available for around $10-$14 per person and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and beverages. It operates until 11:00, making it a convenient option for late risers. Many find it a good value, though replenishment can be slow when busy. Frazier's Place also offers lunch and dinner with a menu of American comfort food; service speed varies. The tiki bar by the pool serves cocktails, beer, and snacks during opening hours. The on-site restaurant may not always be open or well-staffed; there is a vending machine available for drinks and snacks 24/7.

The main heated pool is covered and open year-round, allowing swimming even in rain. The kid's pool has a fence around it for safety. Pool towels are provided, and sun loungers are available. The hot tub is free and often appreciated after theme-park days. The fitness center is basic but functional. Outside, the property features full-sized basketball, baseball, football courts, a children's playground, and a nature walk around a pond with benches and grills. Weekly activities include happy hour, movie nights, and table tennis. The basketball court remains locked between uses; a ball must be borrowed at the front desk.

Wi-Fi is free and generally reliable in common areas and many rooms, though some interiors may have weaker signals. Parking is free and right outside the room entrances but cannot be reserved. The property offers accessible rooms with features like lower sinks and grab rails. There is a laundry room (coin-operated, $2 per wash/dry) and a business center with free printer use. The front desk offers express check-in/out, tour desk, and safety deposit boxes. Housekeeping is daily but may not always replenish coffee; extra towels or bedding requests are handled quickly. Luggage storage is available after check-out. The on-site ticket office sells park tickets, often at a higher price than direct park purchase.
