Icon Park is across the street - night-time music from the amusement park can be heard from some rooms, particularly those facing the parking lot. The free shuttle eliminates the need to drive to Disney parks, factory outlet shopping, and SeaWorld; return shuttles run early, so Uber or a rental car is useful for late park visits. For race or event mornings at ESPN Wide World of Sports or EPCOT, the location puts parking within about 15 minutes of the venue.

Rooms are larger than typical hotel rooms, offering a sitting area with sofa, in-room safe, ironing facilities, carpeted floors, and a flat-screen TV. The bathrooms have quartz counters, nice tile, and a shower; some units have a tub. A number of reports point to recurring issues: a damp/musty or chemical-like smell linked to floor cleaning products, very dim room lighting, thin walls that carry noise from neighbours and the nearby amusement park, noisy air conditioning units, and worn bedding (bumpy comforters, stained mattress protectors). The outdoor pool is a primary leisure feature, large and clean, surrounded by loungers, umbrellas, and complimentary pool towels. It has a separate children's pool and a hot tub (though the hot tub has been closed for maintenance at times). The pool area closes relatively early - often before families return from the parks. The 24-hour fitness centre offers basic cardio and strength equipment and is clean and operational. Additional outdoor features include a small volleyball court (sometimes overgrown), hammocks, and family games such as checkers or board games. An on-site bar at the pool is occasionally not open for extended periods.

The free shuttle to Disney World®, Universal Orlando®, and SeaWorld® runs on a set schedule - check times at the front desk as return trips are early. Parking is plentiful and free, with a coded gate (avoid touching the metal keys with bare hands when entering the code due to static shock). The property is entirely non-smoking. A launderette is on the second floor. The lift is frequently broken, so guests who cannot climb stairs should request a ground-floor room. Luggage can be stored at reception. The 24-hour front desk staff handle check-in/check-out and respond to issues via app chat or in person. Babysitting/child services can be arranged. Meeting space is limited; larger groups can be accommodated at Island Grove Wine Company nearby. Wi-Fi is free and generally reliable.
