CH CATRACHOS ROOMS, Madrid

The property is at the heart of Madrid's commercial and cultural axis. Gran Via Metro Station is a 3-minute walk, giving direct access to the city's metro network. Plaza Mayor is a 10-minute walk, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is 14 minutes on foot. A Mercadona supermarket and a launderette are within a short stroll. Several restaurants and bars are located on the same street. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 12 km away, reachable by metro or local bus via Gran Via station. For evening exploration, the area is walkable, safe, and well-connected.

Rooms are compact and functional, designed for short stays where location matters more than space. Each room includes a private sink, hairdryer, and mirror, plus air conditioning (free) and heating (additional charge). All rooms have a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The shared bathrooms (separate from the room sink) are cleaned regularly. Bed sizes include double and single options. Rooms facing the courtyard are quieter, while street-facing units have a small balcony (mostly occupied by the air-conditioning unit). Some rooms may not have an external window; choosing a courtyard-facing room can help reduce noise from hallways and neighbouring rooms. Rooms are basic but modern in recent refurbishment, with comfortable beds and good-value pricing.

CH Catrachos Rooms does not serve breakfast and has no restaurant, bar, or self-catering kitchen. Guests planning to eat meals will need to rely on the surrounding area, which offers numerous restaurants, cafes, and a Mercadona supermarket within a short walk. The nearby dining includes Spanish, Ecuadorian, and brunch options, all within 0.3-0.5 km. For longer stays, the supermarket enables basic self-catering, but no cooking facilities are provided in the room. The property is adults-only, so no children's menu or family dining services are available.
